Officials from the Immigration and Citizenship Agency Attend Key Conference on Women’s Leadership in Migration and Security

Officials from the Immigration and Citizenship Agency participated in a high-level conference in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, focused on addressing challenges and exploring opportunities for advancing women’s leadership in migration, border control, and security. The event was organized by Naif Arab University for Security Sciences in collaboration with Interpol and drew participants from across the region and around the world.

The conference brought together 96 women professionals working in migration and security, experts from 13 Arab countries, and representatives from various international organizations. Key discussions centered on fostering women’s leadership within the security sector and strategies for overcoming cultural and institutional barriers that limit women’s progress in these fields.

ICA Officials actively engaged in the discussions, emphasizing the importance of strengthened international cooperation. They highlighted the need for cross-border partnerships to address both cultural and organizational challenges hindering women’s advancement in migration and security roles.

The Immigration and Citizenship Agency remains committed to advocating for women’s leadership in migration and border security and to working with international partners to develop solutions that enhance security and serve communities worldwide.
